HuffPo purchase weighs down AOL earnings

AOL saw its profits for the first quarter nosedive by 86 percent as the company struggled to swallow the costs of buying the Huffington Post.

For the quarter ended March 31, the online service watched its profits fall to $4.7 million from $34.7 million in the year-ago quarter. Revenue also fell, reaching $551.4 million, a 17 percent drop from $664.3 million a year ago

Nikon announces D5100

on Monday night Nikon announced the replacement for the d5100, the Nikon D5100. The main specs include 16.2-megapixel resolution  with a mic jack. it is  expanded with an ISO 102,400 Night Vision mode, and a larger 3-inch flip out and twist LCD rather than the 2.7 inch drop down  version of its predecessor. There's also a new 2-shot autobracket-and-combine HDR mode.

Semi sub' the Bentley of glass-bottom boats

it was made in south koreas.  the compact  is more of a glass-bottom boat than a sub, but it's still pretty nifty. My tech article for this week is the ipad. The ipad is a tablet computer designed developed and is made by apple. The ipad has many features such as books, music, games, internet, and periodcals. the ipad weighs 1.5 pounds. Apple released this ipad in April 2010 they sold 3 million of them in 80 days. the ipad runs just like the iphone and  the ipod touch.
